The University of Santo Tomas (UST) Chemical Engineering Department emerged victorious in the recently concluded 44th General Information Quiz Contest, securing multiple podium finishes across different categories, held as part of the 118th Engineering Week, February 13, 2025.
Leading the charge was James Abris, who clinched 1st place in the Student Individual Category, showcasing his exceptional knowledge and quick thinking. Meanwhile, the Student Team Category saw UST’s representatives—Thaddeus Lao, Kurt Pumicpic, Kevin Escalante, and Mayumi Calpotura—achieve a remarkable 2nd place finish, demonstrating their teamwork and expertise.
