Dr. Edgar Clyde R. Lopez formally took his oath of office as one of the new Board Members of the Engineering Faculty Organization (EFO) during a ceremony held on October 14, 2025, at the UST Faculty of Engineering lobby. The event gathered administrators, faculty members, and staff to witness the induction of officers who will lead the organization in advancing the collective welfare and professional development of the faculty's academic community.
Rev. Fr. Roberto L. Luanzon, O.P., SThD, DL, administered the oath of office, commending the new board for their commitment to uphold academic excellence, collegiality, and shared governance within the faculty.
Asst. Prof. Danilo Jr. C. Guinto, MSc, a faculty member of the Department of Electrical Engineering and EFO President, expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in them by their colleagues. He emphasized his dedication to supporting initiatives that strengthen research culture, promote inclusive faculty engagement, and enhance the academic environment within the College of Engineering.
The newly inducted officers vowed to continue fostering collaboration across departments, ensuring that the EFO remains an active platform for dialogue, mentorship, and service.
